As part of the Just Peace Festival, Just Peace, in collaboration with the libraries in The Hague, presents a series of Just Peace Movie Nights! Join us on Monday, June 16 from 17:30 to 19:30 at Bibliotheek Scheveningen for a special screening of the documentary Blue Carbon.

Blue carbon refers to the carbon stored in coastal ecosystems like mangroves, seagrass meadows, and tidal marshes. These ecosystems are powerful – yet often overlooked – allies in the fight against climate change. Led by Grammy-nominated DJ, producer, and biologist Jayda Guy, this visually and musically rich documentary explores how communities around the world are working to protect these vital natural systems. With a soundtrack by RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) and appearances by Seu Jorge, Blue Carbon is a stunning fusion of science, music, and activism.

Don’t miss this inspiring evening of film, music, and climate awareness!
