THEATRE & FILM HOUSE DAKOTA MAKES ESCAMP HAPPIER

Dakota is one of the eight cultural anchors in The Hague. Each district has a Cultural Anchor, such as a library, museum or theatre. There are eight places in The Hague where art and culture are offered to everyone. At Dakota we try to introduce different audience groups – for whom it is not self-evident to come into contact with art and culture – in an accessible way in these cultural anchors.

Dakota is located in the middle of the largest district of The Hague: Escamp. There is plenty to do in and around our theatre and film house. You can go to a theatre performance, visit a film or even follow workshops and lessons in our ArtLabs. But because the world around us is changing, we are increasingly trying to shape our theatre and film house together with our environment.
