Walking tour of The Hague and slavery
- Date: 15 June, 21 September, 19 October en 16 November
- label.tijd 14:00
- Location: Rijksmuseum de Gevangenpoort

Walk along historic locations such as the former Ministry of Colonies or the place where Anton de Kom conducted research for his book We, the Slaves of Suriname.
When thinking about the history of slavery in the Netherlands, many people think of the trading city of Amsterdam or the port city of Middelburg, but The Hague played a central role in the establishment, enforcement, and abolition of slavery from the 17th century onwards. Traces of this history are still visible in the streets of The Hague. Various locations remind us of the history of slavery and are part of this guided city walk.
