How many inspiring, sharp and beautiful entries were submitted!
During the Road to Summit, the Hague program of peace and justice in the run-up to the NATO summit on June 24 and 25, creative competitions were set up for everyone in The Hague. To make your voice heard in your own way: how do you view peace and justice?

The following competitions are taking place:
- LEGO building competition The Hague LEGO Top*

Please note! The deadline for the The Hague LEGO Top competition has passed. You can no longer submit a LEGO construction. The candidates have now been notified.
The Hague LEGO Top, a creative LEGO competition in which residents of The Hague were challenged to create constructions around the theme of peace and justice.
The winning constructions in the categories 4–12 years and 13+ will be revealed. The selection was made by a jury, including Sjaak Bral.
The winning creations will be given a prominent place next to the large LEGO model of the World Forum, which has been on tour in The Hague in recent weeks and is now landing in the Atrium. In the Atrium you can also see the enormous LEGO model of the World Forum and take a look at the congress centre of The Hague where the NATO summit takes place.

- Film competition ‘Door de Haagse Lens*

The competition ‘Door de Haagse Lens’ asked you to pick up the camera and show your creativity. With a short film or animation that offers hope for world peace and shows The Hague as a city of peace and justice.

- Story competition for students ‘Long Live Our Democracy!’*

The municipality of The Hague considers it very important that young people are also well informed about the major NATO meeting that is being organised in the World Forum. It is mainly about protecting our democracy and our resulting freedoms and rights.
Questions are also asked such as: 'What does democracy mean to you?'
From Road to Summit, a digital lesson package has been offered to schools in The Hague for all pupils in primary school classes 7 and 8 and the first-year classes of secondary schools about the importance of. The lesson package also includes the story competition 'Long live our democracy!'. The pupils can express their vision of Peace and Justice in their own way in this story competition.
• Schools will select the winner of their school themselves. Schools are asked to submit their winning story digitally by 4 June 2025 at the latest. If digital submission is not possible, the stories can also be sent to the city hall or handed in at the reception desk.
• A jury will assess the entries and announce the prize winners.
• The best entries will be selected. The winners will be invited with their teachers and parents to present their findings to the jury.
• The final is on 17 June. This final round will take place in the afternoon and the winner will be announced at a beautiful location in The Hague
