Rolien Sasse

Rolien Sasse has been executive director of PAX, the Netherlands' largest peace organization, since 2023. PAX is committed worldwide to protecting civilians in conflict zones, promoting human rights and strengthening peaceful societies. The organization combines local presence with international lobbying and policy advocacy and works closely with civil society organizations, peace activists and local communities. Key issues such as climate conflicts, gender equality, the impact of technology and corporate responsibility are integral to the approach. Through long-term programs and strategic partnerships, PAX is committed to sustainable peace and justice, both in the Netherlands and globally.
