Leila Prnjavorac

In everything that Leila Prnjavorac does, she wants to be an ambassador of Peace.

Her whole private, public, and work life is focused on the themes of Justice and Peace. As an adolescent, Leila fled former Yugoslavia during the war and found refuge and a new home in the Netherlands. Since then, she has worked as an all-round presenter/moderator, public speaker, podcast maker, guest lecturer, and talk show host for over 20 years. She was appointed the Hague Citizen of the Year and Peace Ambassador by her hometown The Hague. This year she is one of the faces and stories welcoming the NATO top to The Hague. Leila works with kids, adolescents and adults and a lot of the time she is asked to work with the most difficult and complex topics, because she can make them approachable and understandable, with a bit of humor, humanity and humility from a big heart. Bringing worlds closer together where vulnerability and power go hand in hand. Leila invites you to also join in and become a fellow ambassador of peace!

Leila Prnjavorac studied communication (graduated with honors) and has been an entrepreneur for 20 years. She has been working as an all-round presenter, chairperson, speaker, program maker, project coordinator, and trainer/guest lecturer for 23 years. In 2017, Leila was appointed the Hague Citizen of the Year and in 2020 she was appointed the Hague Freedom Ambassador in the context of 75 years of Freedom.
