Practising Peace Out Loud

Peace feels farther away than ever, and with it come rising tensions, widening divides, and hardened hearts. Now more than ever, we refuse to look away. So we come together to practise peace. The three-day White Flag Fest (and four-day hackathon) marks the beginning of a gentle movement that carries into the future. And you can be part of it.

This is your chance to repaint and reclaim the white walls of the foyer at Korzo together with the colorful artists’ collective United Paintings. Discover the rebel within through the acclaimed interactive performance OPSTAND by Marte Boneschansker. And join the White Flag Hackathon, where six artists from different practices and perspectives will formulate a physical and tangible response on the spot to the question: what kind of world do we raise the flag of peace, equality and connection for?

White Flag Fest is a space to experience what a body feels like when it is no longer on edge. How a society sounds without hierarchy or competition, and what it feels like when we finally act from equality. This hopeful world of tomorrow is what we will begin to embody together at Korzo.
