Film festival Movies that Matter and Theater De Vaillant join forces for a unique film experience! This time we are screening Yalla Parkour, an inspiring documentary about the power of movement, freedom and perseverance.

The story

In Yalla Parkour, we follow a group of young Palestinian parkour athletes who pursue their passion for parkour despite the limitations of their environment. Among the ruins and borders of Gaza, they find a way to escape daily reality. Jumping, running and balancing over obstacles becomes for them a symbol of hope and resistance. But how do you keep dreaming when your world seems to be getting smaller and smaller?

A film with impact

Yalla Parkour not only shows breathtaking stunts, but also tells a deeply human story about freedom and determination. The documentary shows how sport can be an outlet in the most challenging circumstances and how young people continue to strive to move even when everything else is working against them.

After the film, we will end the evening with a joint Iftar, a great opportunity to break the fast together. While enjoying a meal, there will be room to talk about the film and share experiences.
